Lima Woman Sentenced

August 28, 2015-

Catherine Wilson, Lima, was sent to prison for one year for violating her probation.  (Trafficking in Heroin)

This sentenced will be served concurrently with a Putnam County case in which Wilson was sentenced to three years for violating probation  for a burglary conviction.

Wilson is the woman who fled to Florida after a traffic accident in Lima that left a man dead.

Judge Jeffrey Reed asked Wilson why she fled after the crash in Lima, especially when she was a passenger and not the driver.  Wilson said she didn't know what to do.  The judge asked if she was using drugs at the time, and she said no.

Wilson, 27, has not been charged in the May 31 death of Aaron Ehrnsberger, who was 27 years old at the time of the accident.  Ehrnsberger was riding his motorcycle west on Allentown Road near the intersection of Kenilworth Avenue when an eastbound car turned in front of him, police said.

Police are investigating the role Robert D. Catlett III, 31, may have had in the crash.  The crash remains under investigation.
