Wes, K94 Afternoons (2pm-6pm) / Promotions Director
I was born in Indiana and spent the better part of my life moving since my dad was in the Air Force. Of all the places I've lived I call North Carolina home, which would explain why I'm a true, blue Tar Heel fan (Go Heels!).
I graduated from Fairborn HS in Fairborn, OH and went to college in Indianapolis where I played baseball, partied and went to class when I could fit it into my schedule (my outstanding 1.6 GPA reflected that). After a stint in the Air Force both on active duty and the reserves I went back to school and finished my degree in 2004 with a major in General Studies and a double minor in Communication and Journalism (with a better looking 3.2 GPA).
My speech teacher once told me I needed to be in a career where I could entertain people and since I love music and like being goofy, working in radio seemed only natural. So, I came to K94 after I was offered a full time position doing the Mid-Day show, as well as promotions where I wheel and deal to get tickets to places like various zoos, Reds games, Browns games, fun parks, concerts and more so we can give them to you! An added bonus for me working at here at K94 is the fact that we're a Reds and Browns affiliates - my two favorite teams!
There are two ideas on how to live life that I like a lot: (1) Don't take life too seriously; no one gets out alive anyway (2) It's better to be hated for who you are, than loved for who you're not.
Join me everyday from 2pm - 6pm and let's see how much trouble we can get ourselves into! AND YES; I AM THE ONE YOUR MOTHER WARNED YOU ABOUT
