Cincinnati Reds

Brandon Phillips began the game with a homer yesterday against the New York Mets. Making his debut for the Mets, pitcher Steven Matz didn't give up another hit until the fourth inning, when Todd Frazier knocked it into the left field seats, making it a 2-2 game.  It was Frazier's 25th home run of the season, moving him to 2nd, behind Giancarlo Stanton, who owns 27 home runs.

Final score 7-2.

The Reds are back home for 6 games, beginning with the Minnesota Twins.  Reds/Twins will enjoy a 3-game series.  Mike Leake will start for the Reds at 7:10 tonight.
